From a press release:
Today, the New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) launched its newly designed website, http://www.nyccfb.info. The design will better connect users with the New York City campaign finance and election information they seek.
The website’s enhancements reflect current best practices in user experience design, making the CFB’s resources more accessible than ever before. The website’s most-accessed functional areas are prominently featured on the new home page, connecting users with the information they seek clearly and quickly. The website is fully mobile-responsive, and will better serve the growing number of users who access CFB information on a smaller screen, whether by smartphone or tablet.
The launch comes two weeks before the July 15 filing deadline, when the latest disclosure information from candidates participating in the 2015 and 2017 election cycles will be made available to the public via the new site.
The CFB partnered with award-winning, NYC-based branding & interactive firm Matthew Schwartz Design Studio (MSDS) to design a website user experience that enhances accessibility, transparency, and awareness. The new design was informed by interviews and focus groups conducted with candidates, campaign treasurers and liaisons, civic groups, members of the press, and other stakeholders.”
