Nassau County Democrats Could Face Political Shutout In Fall Elections

Robert Brodsky and Paul Larocco take a look at Nassau County’s Democratic candidates and internal relationships in a story running in today’s Newsday. County Democrats are attempting to hold on to the District Attorney’s Office  and avoiding giving the GOP a supermajority in the county legislature (where the minority Democrats currently can prevent certain borrowing powers). The internal party fight in the City of Long Beach is also mentioned.
