In the NY Daily News, Sophia Rosenbaum informs readers about NYC Comptroller’s new effort to “take a “sledgehammer” to the city’s voting system following the disappearance of 126,000 Brooklyn Democrats from election rolls that came to light during last week’s primary.
“We have a broken voting system,” Stringer said Sunday on NY1. “We’ve got to take a sledgehammer to this. We have to stop pretending this is a democracy.”
His office is planning to audit the Board of Elections, but Stringer said the agency shouldn’t wait for his report.”
