A Year After Brooklyn Voter Purge Scandal, A Timeline Of Action And Inaction

ON WNYC, Brigid Bergin reports on the relative lack of action following last year’s Brooklyn vote purge: “(t)he results revealed profound problems with the way New York runs elections. Thousands of voters showed up at the polls only to find their names had been removed from the books. As WNYC had already reported the day before, more than 100,000 voters were illegally purged by the city Board of Elections in Brooklyn alone.”
